You are a French-speaking professional new to Canada. Are you ambitious and open-minded? Whether you are looking for a job that matches your talent, already working in a company or simply want to increase your skills for the future, Creative Canada offers you the opportunity to develop the essential skills for a changing job market and take your place in a Canadian economy of innovation and creativity. Increase your chances of evolving in tomorrow’s work world by developing essential skills: communication, collaboration, problem solving, adaptability, creativity and innovation. This program is offered in French only.

How it Works

Creative Canada is an innovative program composed of hands-on workshops, expert lectures, coaching and networking activities. An interactive digital teaching platform allows you to analyze your strengths and track your progress on a dashboard.

Free training

This project is funded by the Government of Canada through the Skills for Success program.

Format

60 hours in total, on weekends, from February 16 to March 26, 2023. Part of the training is in-person at the Factry to allow for networking and part is online.

  • Thursday, February 16, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., online. Kick-off event
  • Saturday, February 18, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, in person at the Factry
  • Sunday, February 19, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, online
  • Saturday, February 25, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in person at the Factry
  • Sunday, February 26, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, online
  • Saturday, March 11, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, in person at the Factry
  • Sunday, March 12, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, online
  • Saturday, March 18, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, in person at the Factry
  • Sunday, March 19, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, online

Eligibility Criterias

  • Be a permanent resident of Canada
  • Be between 18 and 40 years of age
  • Be French-speaking
  • Be in Canada for less than 5 years
