Formation In Person

Pause makes you move forward.

Are you allergic to labels and the status quo? You don’t want to fit into the mold, but you are still looking for your goal or your future career? Do you have a great ambition? Are you eager to explore, create and learn? Is your vision beyond the average person’s?

Join the second cohort of Pause. It is a program to develop the skills necessary to tackle the changing labor market such as creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and communications.

Pause is a 8-month program of coaching and internship, divided in two phases:

Phase 1

  • 10 weeks of active training in creativity, practical workshops, expert conferences, coaching and mentoring, 4 days a week.
  • A hybrid formula : partly online and partly face-to-face. We respect all the public health instructions.
  • An integrative project in which your creative skills will be highlighted.
  • Support from the CJE to find your path.

Phase 2

  • Paid internship in a creative sector, 5 days a week for 4 months.

Internships are subsidized under the Canada-Quebec contribution Agreement in support of Quebec youth, in which the federal government contributes financially, more specifically through Stratégie emploi et compétences jeunesse.

Whether it is after your studies, between two academic programs or during a career reorientation, Pause allows you to have a better self-knowledge, to navigate in a changing world and to find your way, when everything seems in slow motion. More than just a simple course, Pause is a program outside the norm, for students outside the norm.

Pause will target people with the following symptoms:

Participants will be selected by a committee of experts. They will be looking for:

  • People with a pandemic ambition, who do not want to fit into the mold,
  • Passionate people looking for their goal and their profession or who have lost the sense of smell and taste for their future,
  • Open-minded and lively people who are not afraid to merge genres and bring together differences,
  • Individuals who are generous with their knowledge and greedy for others’, who want to unite to change things and who want to bond as a community to spread talents.

We strongly encourage diverse applicants and individuals who belong to a visible minority to apply.
